Slightly alcoholic and plummy on the nose. Fruit character is a little generic, but with Blaufränkisch’s trademark sour twang. Fresh and structured, without doubt. Not the most expressive or elegant.
typical PB nose, with that lovely hint of cream soda (almost. Super tight, mineral palate full of slate, minerals and whisps of citrus. Not specially complex, but very nicely done.

Odd and slightly cooked nose, some fresh apple slices, Good attack but tails off very rapidly into an unfocused and slightly alcoholic finish. Not delivering at the price point at all.

Pithy green pepper and honey aromas, very open and expressive on the nose. Grabs the attention with spine-tingling acidity, and there are subtle backnotes of herbs and minerals too. Nice peppery note on the finish, full of character and super Read more
Candied fruit chunks, candied pear on the nose, hint of chamomile – adds pleasing rusticity/wildness. Lacks a little get up and go – overly broad for the lowissh acidity. But there is plenty of depth and character here.
