This is a kind of “own label” produced for the wine importer “8 Millenium” – three Georgian friends now based in Almere, Netherlands. The wine is actually made by a family member back in Kakheti.
A very well balanced qvevri style here, with a suggestion of the jasmine flower note that I love so much with macerated Rkatsiteli. The main aroma is of fragrant and bruised apples with a gingery kick.
Attractive autumnal fruit and a good structure that doesn’t dominate. Fairly low acid but overall a lot of harmony, typicity and charm.
Uncertified biodynamic viticulture. Unfiltered, low sulphites (c. 35mg/L)
