A bright and typical Kartli style, with starchy green apple and some earth and dried herbs on the nose.

Very light bodied with fresh acidity, but no shortage of character – both from Chinuri (which is 80% of the blend) and from the qvevri fermentation and ageing.

The blend was with the skins for only two weeks.

Chinebuli is an alternative local name for Chinuri, in Kartli region.

Slightly sickly on the nose, with a bit of green plum and herb. Muted fruit and a bit vegetal on the finish. Some light phenolics. Overall, feels a bit tired, which is surprising in such a young wine.
Chinebuli is a synonym for Chinuri. But this wine misses the attractive qualities of that variety, and is a bit disappointing for DoReMi – who usually scale the heights.
