From one of Tinhof’s most prized plots, this terroir seems to suit Weissburgunder slightly less well than Neuburger. There’s a lots of mineral drive and energy, however the fruit feels a bit unfocused and there are hints of oxidation that don’t quite gel with everything else that’s going on. Weissburgunder’s curranty character is present and correct, but doesn’t speak quite as loud and clear as one would like.
