Rich, honeyed fruit with a lovely spiciness and tang. Papaya and spiced apple, very mineral and salty on the finish, good concentration, could maybe use a smidge more acidity to provide additional lift but lots of depth here.
Austere style, wet stone and minerals but with a lovely airy mid-palate that has some lactic notes, and leading to a long and refined finish. This bone dry style won’t be for everyone but it is certainly stylistically consistent with this winery’s output, and nicely reigned in.
Hint of camphor, lime, very upfront citrus fruit and little depth beyond it right now. But this super tight, mineral style could age very well – fingers crossed it becomes a little more generous and expressive in a few years time.
Freshly made lemonsade, charming and pretty with a soft, easy texture but nice minerality running through it. Fairly simple and primary right now, but has the refinement and delicacy that should indicate great potential.
Very tightly wound and lifted, with tart acids. Lemon zest on the nose, some riper citrus notes on the palate. Extremely taut with just enough suggestion of texture to make it palatable. Could do with fleshing out, which one supposes it will in a year or two. Thrilling but a little unapproachable right now.
