Green pepper and orchard fruits on the nose, bone dry on the attack, but then opens out to a surprisingly juicy, generous finish. Mineral and stony, given time to plump out a little, this could be sensational.
Rich, honeyed fruit with a lovely spiciness and tang. Papaya and spiced apple, very mineral and salty on the finish, good concentration, could maybe use a smidge more acidity to provide additional lift but lots of depth here.
Exotic, perfumed nose of angelica root and passion flower, similarly exotic fruits on the palate, dancing acidity, superbly elegant and poised. Such a delicate pretty wine, but so focused and multi-dimensional too. Excellent.
Still quite closed on the nose, but with attractive orchard fruits, refreshing acids and restrained texture. Green apple, some leesy notes with a hint of honeycomb. Dry and focused, with lots of potential to age and open out. Refined on the finish. Selected yeasts (from the Kamptal region), fermentation in large acacia wood barrels.
